This year’s U.S. News & World Report ranking of U.S. law schools is out, and while there are few changes at the top, there are a significant number of moves up or down the list between No. 55 and No. 144 range, according to Law.com.
The publication’s director of research says the moves can largely be attributed to changes in the ranking methodology, which no longer gives law schools equal credit for placing graduates in any job and now gives more credit to job placements that involves permanent positions that require bar passage.
