Concordia University School of Law to Shutter Amid Failed Transfer Deal

Concordia University School of Law is shutting its doors after the school’s sponsor, Concordia University in Portland and Concordia St. Paul could not agree to transfer terms. So reports the Associated Press.

Concordia Univ Law SchoolThe plan was sparked by Concordia University in Portland’s announcement to close due to financial issues, with Concordia University St. Paul considering a transfer agreement. However, the deal fell apart with details under wraps due to “pending litigation” surrounding a $300 million lawsuit brought by online education company Hotchalk.
