California Drivers No Longer Need To Answer Cop’s Question

A new law in California prohibits police officers from asking drivers, “Do you know why I pulled you over?” So reports Fox News.

Assemblymember Chris Holden, the law’s author, said he intends for it to “promote equity and accountability in communities” and eliminate tensions between civilians and police officers.
