Wisc. Supreme Court Ends State’s Blanket Stay-at-Home Order

In a first-of-its-kind ruling, the Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down Gov. Tony Evers' directive to shut down activity in the state. So reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

house 4952681 640smallThe state’s top court found Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services ignored a rulemaking procedure that required anti-virus measures to be run through legislative committees that could, if they so choose, block the regulations. The Republican lawmakers who initially brought the challenge said it was needed to give them “a seat at the table” with respect to handling the outbreak.
