If an appeals court affirms Italy’s highest court’s decision last month to reverse its 2011 acquittal of Amanda Know, the American former exchange student, there will likely be major demonstrations of transnational law, according to Alan Dershowitz, who wrote about the issue in the Wall Street Journal.
