School Board Member Sues After She's Removed Due to Remarks About Asian Americans

Alison Collins, a school board member in San Francisco who was removed from her vice president position and several committee posts, is alleging her First Amendment rights have been violated. So reports The New York Daily News.

gavel 3577258 640 smallCollins was given a vote of no confidence after posting “remarks about Asian Americans” and is now seeking $72 million in damages from the San Francisco Unified School District as well as $3 million from several board members who voted against her. She is also seeking an apology and reinstatement to her positions.
