A defense attorney in Florida came to court dressed in a hazmat suit—complete with a respirator mask, face shield and gloves—as he didn’t want to take any chances amid a spike in COVID-19 cases in the state. So reports Fox News.

suit 710276 640Samuel J. Rabin Jr. wanted to stand beside his client during the client’s sentencing hearing, which Rabin said was “the most important stage of a person’s life that’s facing a criminal case.”

Rabin could have used Zoom to video into the hearing, but believe he was ethically obligated to be there in person.
