Ex-NLFer Kellen Winslow Jr. Convicted of Rape

Ex-professional football player Kellen Winslow Jr., who was recently convicted of raping a homeless woman, saw the remaining eight charges against him thrown out in a mistrial. So reports The New York Daily News.

California prosecutors are non-committal on a plan moving forward and did not comment on whether or not they plan to retry him. Jurors could not reach a unanimous decision on whether Winslow also raped a hitchhiker and unconscious teenager—10 jurors favored a conviction.
