MLB Should Have Raised Guardrails Sooner: Lawsuit

A lawsuit filed by the family of Gregory Murrey against the Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball contends other stadium deaths should have led to the installation of higher guardrails. So reports ESPN.

Murrey died in 2015 after falling from the upper deck at Turner Field. The lawsuit disputes MLB's position that it doesn't regulate rail heights. Industry standards call for rails in front of seated areas to be 26 inches or higher. Murray fell over a 30-inch rail.
