Public Intercourse Lands Florida Woman on Sex Offender List

A man and a woman who had intercourse on a Florida beach have been convicted of lewd and lascivious conduct. So reports the Bradenton Herald.

The conviction of the woman, 20-year-old Elissa Alvarez, was withheld because she has no criminal history. She still has to register as a sex offender, however, unless she appeals. In custody for approximately two weeks after being convicted, Alvarez was sentenced to time served.

The 40-year-old man involved in the crime, Jose Caballero, once served eight years in prison for cocaine trafficking. He will be sentenced for the public intercourse incident in July.
