A federal judge has struck down a Texas law that would have required abortion facilities in the Lone-Star State to meet hospital-level operating standards. So reports CBS News.

The judge determined that the law, which would have effectively shuttered more than 12 of Texas’s 19 abortion providers, would have created “an impermissible obstacle as applied to all women seeking a previability abortion."
