Kansas Supreme Court Judge Resigns from Teaching Job, Citing 'Closed and Stifling Culture'

Citing its intolerant culture, State Supreme Court Justice Caleb Stegall is resigning from a part-time teaching gig at the University of Kansas law school. So reports the Associated Press.

University of Kansas Law SchoolThe resignation comes in the wake of controversy surrounding a speaking engagement featuring Jordan Lorence of the Alliance for Defending Freedom, which “opposes LGBTQ rights.” Stegall issued a six-page letter to the school’s dean before stepping down.
