Chess Grandmaster Suing Rival Amid Cheating Allegations

Chess grandmaster Hans Niemann is suing world champion Magnus Carlsen and others for defamation. So reports CNN.

Niemann is seeking $100 million or more in damages after accusing Carlsen, online chess platform chess.com and Hikaru Nakamura of “egregiously defaming him and unlawfully colluding to blacklist him from the profession to which he has dedicated his life.”
