Google Settlement Could Net $500 Per Customer Over Defective Mics

Per a settlement agreement, Google is expecting to pay individuals who purchased their Pixel smartphone up to $500 each. So report’s Business Insider.

In 2017, the company acknowledged some of the phones had defective microphones. A class action suit followed, alleging the company continued to sell the phone, even in some cases giving customers who returned it a replacement phone with the exact same problem. A June 5 hearing is scheduled for preliminary approval.
