Bill Cosby Looks to SCOTUS After California Defamation Ruling

Bill Cosby is asking the Supreme Court to overturn the California Court of Appeal and the California Supreme Court in his defamation case against rape accuser and former supermodel Janice Dickinson. So reports The New York Daily News.

Cosby said civil defamation cases from other accusers Renita Hill and Kathrine McKee were struck down in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts and claims Dickinson's case should suffer the same fate.

However, Dickinson’s lawyer, Lisa Bloom, expressed confidence the lower court rulings will stand. A state judge overseeing Dickinson’s lawsuit noted the Hill case doesn't apply in this instance.
