Ward Family, Stewart Agree to Settlement in Deadly NASCAR Crash

Former NASCAR driver Tony Stewart and the family of Kevin Ward Jr., who was killed during a 2014 race involving Stewart in Canandaigua, New York, have reached a confidential settlement. So reports Syracuse.com.

According to the attorneys, the out-of-court agreement does not require court approval. Both parties agreed to forego a settlement conference hearing to reduce travel costs and attorney’s fees.
