Train-load of Feces at Heart of Legal Dispute in Alabama

A legal battle has erupted over a train full of New York sewage stuck wafting over the town of Parris, Alabama. So reports The New York Daily News.

Uncertainty about the legality of loading the feces-filled cars onto trucks and bringing them the remaining 25 miles to an Adamsville landfill has left local officials and neighbors frustrated. The New York City Department of Environmental Protection said it will not accept the filled train cars back, despite complaints from those dealing with the smell.
