Disney, AIG Feud Over ‘Pink Slime’ Defamation Case

The Walt Disney Company is seeking to compel its insurer, AIG, to cover its apparent “pink slime” defamation case settlement. So reports Variety.

The “underlying litigation” was unidentified, but the dates related to the case align with a court battle with South Dakota’s Beef Products Inc., which filed a libel suit against Disney after ABC News allegedly damaged its business.

According to the article, AIG did not consent to the settlement, and objected to the dispute mediation venue.
