The provider was left with a car seat, a phone number and no other clothes for the child except a pair of leggings. The woman, Kelsey McMurtry, was previously arrested for child neglect after she allegedly left her child in a hot car while auditioning at a strip club.
After several hours of attempting to contact McMurtry, the provider called the police. Police arrested McMurtry after she was allegedly found intoxicated in public later that night. She was charged with two counts of child neglect and criminal impersonation.
