Proclaimed Psychics Barred From Mail Solicitations

Two self-proclaimed psychics are barred from soliciting customers via U.S. mail after signing a consent decree with the Justice Department. So reports The New York Daily News.

Maria Duval and Patrick Guerin, along with Metro Data Management, have agreed to cease using the mail to sell good luck charms and lucky lottery numbers," the story reads. The duo, who advertise as “internationally acclaimed psychics,” have sent 56 million mailings since 2006, including ones that asked for strands of hair and a photo in order to generate a "personal astral clairvoyant forecast."

Under the decree, the proclaimed psychics are also banned from selling lists of those who responded to their ads.
