Legislator’s Former Law Firm Sues Him For Fraud

The former law firm of David Denenberg, an attorney who was running for New York State Senate, has filed a lawsuit accusing him of overbilling $2 million. So reports Crain’s.

 

The firm, Davidoff Hutcher & Citron, is accusing Denenberg of “374 separate acts of mail fraud,” which allegedly “resulted in his personal receipt of many hundreds of thousands of dollars he did not deserve.” Nassau County Democrats are replacing Denenberg on the ballot.
