Court to Reconsider Case of Employee Fired for Being Too Hot

The Iowa Supreme Court earlier this month agreed to withdraw and reconsider a decision holding that a dentist didn’t commit gender discrimination when he fired his attractive assistant at the request of his jealous wife, according to Iowa's appellate blog, On Brief.

In its holding in favor of the dentist, the court had held that the dentist's decision to fire his assistant had everything to do with his issues with a specific person, not the female gender as a whole. Read the full post from On Brief here.
