Feds Prosecute Phony N.J. Attorney

Leaford Cameron, 62, has been indicted for wire fraud, mail fraud and false statements in connection with conducting a phony law practice out of his New Jersey home. So reports The New York Daily News.

The New Jersey man represented at least 74 people in mostly immigration and custody matters, using legitimate attorneys’ identification numbers on court filings, according to prosecutors. Cameron faces up to 75 years in prison and up to $1.5 million in fines.
