Mom Faces Charges for Playing on Cell Phone While Her Three Kids Drown

Police have arrested a 30-year-old Texas woman whose three children drowned in a pool because a witness said she was likely on her cell phone when it happened. So reports USA Today.

The children, aged 11, 10, and 9, couldn’t swim and had no flotation devices. Their mother, Patricia Denise Allen, was held in jail on a $50,000 bond and faces one count of injury to child, a charge that includes “reckless behavior.”
