All Female Law Firm Encourages Parental and Professional Ambitions

The founders of a six-woman law firm in Washington, D.C., are out to prove that a work-life balance is possible even in the legal profession, where women represented a mere 16.5% of law partners in 2013. So reports The New York Times.

The firm, called the Geller Law Group, was founded in 2011 and does do not have a set office. The lawyers rent rooms by the hour or day instead, and limit their litigation business because court appearances and filing deadlines don’t allow them an acceptable amount of control over their schedules.
