Denver Baker Investigated For Refusing to Make 'God Hates Gays' Cake

A Colorado man has filed a complaint against a Denver bakery for refusing to write anti-gay sentiments on cakes he ordered. So reports KUSA.

Azucar Bakery owner Marjorie Silva says the customer who filed the complaint with the Civil Rights division of the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) asked her to write statements including “God Hates Gays” on Bible-shaped cakes. After she refused, she received a DORA complaint alleging religious discrimination.

Bill Jack, the man who made the request, is the founder of a group that, according its web site, is “dedicated to helping Christians think and live in accord with a Biblical worldview."
