NY Mets Fire Exec Because She Was Unwed and Pregnant: Lawsuit

The highest ranking woman in the history of the New York Mets organization is suing the franchise for allegedly harassing and firinng her for being pregnant and unmarried. So reports Time.com.

Leigh Castergine, who worked as the baseball team’s senior vice president for ticket sales, claims Mets co-owner Jeff Wilpon told a meeting “of the team’s all-male senior executives” that he was “morally opposed” to her pregnancy.
