Judge Presides Over Wedding of Man She Just Sentenced to Life in Prison

San Diego Superior Court Judge Patricia Cookson performed the marriage ceremony of Danne Desbrow minutes after sentencing him to 53 years-to-life in prison for first-degree murder. So reports CBS Sacramento.

Cookson even baked the couple a cake. Desbrow was reunited with the woman he married, a high school flame with whom he lost touch shortly after she became pregnant with his child at 16, while he was in jail awaiting trial.
