Coalition of States Sues Federal Government Over Fuel-efficiency Standards

A coalition of 24 states led by California filed a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency in hopes a federal court will block the Trump Administration from nullifying California's ability to set stricter fuel-efficiency standards. So reports The Indianapolis Business Journal.

The spat between California and the federal government includes a number of "legal skirmishes" and a divided auto industry. At present, 13 states and the District of Columbia vowed to use California’s standards should they differ from the federal government.
