Miami Lawyer Steps Down from Murder Case After Being Secretly Recorded

Criminal defense lawyer Stuart Adelstein stepped down from his representation of accused murderer Julio Morris after Adelstein was apparently secretly recorded by his client’s friend. So reports Miami Herald.

Now, Adelstein is being listed as a state’s victim. Florida law prohibits individuals from recording people without their consent. Reportedly, the tape recording captured Adelstein laying out evidence against Morris, including the relevance of testimony from a star witness, and could be used in connection to other criminal proceedings.
