Employer Liable as Man Dies After Sex on Biz Trip: French Court

A French court ruled the employer of a man who died of a post-sex heart attack while on a business trip is liable for the incident. So reports The New York Times.

French law considers “any accident that happens on a business trip to be work-related, even if the activity is not closely related to the employee’s mission.” The case may be reviewed by a higher court.
