NY Bar Exam Not Among Top 10 Most Difficult: Report

A professor at Pepperdine School of Law has ranked state bar exams by difficulty using an algorithm that takes into account not just passage rates, like most rankings do, but also the LSAT scores of the law students who took the exams, according to an article in Above the Law.

With 18 hours of testing spread over three days, the California bar exam predictably took the top spot, but New York—another state traditionally regarded as having one of the most difficult bar exams in the nation—only came in at number 12.
