William Paterson University On Hook for $800K After Student’s Alleged Rape, Hanging

Marquesa C. Jackson-Locklear, who sued William Paterson University after her daughter was allegedly raped during a frat party and subsequently hanged herself, will receive $800,000. So reports New Jersey Monthly.

Cherelle Jovanna Locklear was a freshman in 2015 when the alleged incident occurred at Sigma Pi’s fraternity house. The university will also install a memorial as a result of the settlement agreement. The terms with the frat were not disclosed.
