Lawsuit Delays Obama Presidential Center

There is still no trial date set in a lawsuit between environmental group Protect Our Parks and supporters of the Obama Presidential Center. So reports Fox News.

A federal judge in Chicago said a date will be set in December. Protect Our Parks contends the Obama center should not sit in Chicago’s Jackson Park.

The group is leaning on the “public trust doctrine,” which is used to protect certain public land from development. The state, however, said the center would not violate the law.
