Illinois Lawyer Jailed for Threatening Public Officials

Donald Franz, a lawyer in Crystal Lake, has been charged with two felony counts for allegedly threatening a public official and two counts of phone harassment. So reports a CBS Chicago.

Franz is on probation for separate convictions from last year involving DUI, illegal possession of a firearms identification card and resisting arrest.

Franz made the death threats via email. His law license has been suspended.
