Disbarred S.C. Lawyer Accused of Shooting 7 Cops, Killing 1

Disbarred lawyer and disabled Vietnam veteran Frederick Hopkins is accused of killing one police officer and shooting six others during a hostage situation in Florence, S.C. So reports Greenville Online.

Florence city police officer Terrence Carraway died in the exchange.

Hopkins, who is married to divorce attorney Cheryl Turner Hopkins, has had a number of legal spats and is "not in good standing" with the South Carolina Judicial Department.
