AI-powered Chatbot Offers Legal Services, Submits Paperwork

Legal services provider DoNotPay has built an AI-powered chatbot capable of interviewing users and submitting legal paperwork on their behalf. So reports Reason.

The creator, Joshua Browder, describes the creation as "the world's first robot lawyer." DoNotPay initially focused on parking tickets, and has saved users $16 million in fines over three years. DoNotPay is also aiming to help clients who cannot afford lawyers, like asylum-seeking refugees and the homeless.
