Lawyer Has Molestation Conviction Overturned After Decades

Lawyer Brad Holbrook, who lost his law license and served six years in prison for alleged child sex abuse, saw his conviction overturned by the Oregon Court of Appeals. So reports Oregon Live.

The Oregon Department of Justice is not planning an appeal and prosecutors are not planning to retry the case. Holbrook, who already served a full prison sentence, can now begin the process to get his license back and have his record expunged.

The accusations stemmed from a then-10-year-old-girl who said Holbrook brushed against her “vagina area and buttocks.” However, there were no witnesses to the alleged act.
