Lawyer Sues Port Authority for $2M Over Dangerous Bridge Pathway

Dennis C. O’Donnell, a corporate lawyer from Manhattan, is suing the Port Authority after claiming a narrow walkway on the George Washington Bridge contributed to him being trampled by cyclists. So reports The New York Post.

O'Donnell, who has completed 20 marathons, is suing for $2 million after he broke his arm while on the bridge. According to information in the suit, there have been 39 cyclist-related injuries on the bridge between 2010 and 2016. The Port Authority is planning a reconstruction of the path in 2025--something the suit hopes to speed up.
