Conn. Legislature Sends 'Popular Vote' Compact Bill to Governor

The Connecticut Legislature passed a bill awarding the presidential candidate who takes the popular vote all of its Electoral College votes. So reports MSN.

The state will join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact if Gov. Dannel Malloy signs the legislation, which he has already indicated he will do. According to the article, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington and the District of Columbia have already signed the accord.
