Ron Goldman’s Dad Hits Roadblock Collecting from O.J.

At present, O.J. Simpson will not have to pay out money he earned signing autographs to satisfy the more than $70 million civil penalty incurred after allegedly killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman. So reports the Associated Press.

Fred Goldman, Ron's father, is hoping to eventually collect on the wrongful death lawsuit that has now doubled due to interest since the 1994 incident. Simpson was paid to sign memorabilia related to the TV series “The People v. O.J. Simpson” after his release from prison on separate charges. His lawyers said he used the money from the signings for his legal bills.
