Kaepernick Claims Collusion is Behind Continued Unemployment

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has yet to be signed to a new team, has filed a grievance against the NFL claiming owners “colluded” against him to prevent him from playing. So reports the Times Union.

Kaepernick sparked a national debate after protesting racial injustice by kneeling during the national anthem during games. In order to successfully win a collusion case, Kaepernick would have to prove at least two teams, or one team and the NFL, forged an agreement preventing his signing.

The former quarterback had 16 touchdowns and four interceptions last season.
