Voter with Parkinson's gets felony charge

An 86-year-old Minnesota woman who voted in a primary via absentee ballot and then again at a polling place several months later is being prosecuted for voter fraud despite the fact that she suffers from Parkinson’s-related dementia. So reports the StarTribune.

The prosecutor pursuing the case says she was required to bring the 86-year-old up on charges under Minnesota law, which makes county attorneys who don’t prosecute such cases guilty of a misdemeanor.
