Settlement Could Be Near in Eli Manning Memorabilia Suit  

A resolution to the lawsuit against New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and team employees regarding the sale of counterfeit memorabilia could be nearing. So reports the Bleacher Report.

However, plaintiffs in the case have accused the defendants of “resisting” attempts to schedule depositions. The suit alleged Manning and other team employees sold counterfeit merchandise to collectors and fans. At the heart of the matter is an email between Manning and Giant’s staff that the quarterback said was “taken out of context.”
