Commentator Sues ESPN After Being Fired for Comment About Venus Williams

Doug Adler filed suit against ESPN after he was fired for making what some considered a racist comment about Venus Williams. So reports AOL News.

Adler apologized for his comment, but said his remark about her aggressive charging style tactics he termed the “guerilla effect” was not meant to imply he was calling the tennis star a “gorilla.” Adler claimed “serious financial and emotional harm” in the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
