Fate of Manhattan Judge On Sick Leave Since 2014 Up in Air

Justice Daniel McCullough, currently at a New York rehabilitation facility on sick leave, has yet to decide on retirement or applying for disability benefits and has been collecting an annual salary of $193,000 during his time off. So reports The New York Daily News.

The judge has “has been getting the best of an unlimited sick time policy for nearly three years” but now faces an evaluation by a state agency overseeing judicial conduct. The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct could dismiss McCullough or force him to retire if he is medically unable to perform his duties.
