Family Awarded $63M in Children’s Motrin Case

A Massachusetts jury awarded $63 Million to a family whose daughter was near death and is now blind as a result of having suffered an adverse reaction to Johnson & Johnson's Children's Motrin when she was seven, according to a recent article in The Boston Globe.

The medicine caused her to suffer the most severe form of Stevens-Johnson syndrome, which the label on over-the-counter Children's Motrin didn't mention as a side effect back in 2003, when the victim was administered the drug.
