Judge: Probe Into Chris Christie’s ‘Bridgegate’ Role Can Move Forward

An official misconduct complaint against New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for his alleged role in the Bridgegate political retribution scandal can move forward. So reports the NBC News.

The ensuing investigation into the governor is the result of a separate trial involving ex-Port Authority official David Wildstein, who testified Christie knew about the lane closures ordered by his staffers. Christie said he had no knowledge of the closures. A spokesman for the governor said the ruling will immediately be appealed.
