Parents Sue After ‘Dora the Explorer’ Actress' Schoolmate Expelled

The parents of a girl who attends school with the actress who voices “Dora the Explorer” are suing the school claiming their child was expelled as a scapegoat when both girls were caught vaping. So reports NBC News.

The “Dora” actress, 15-year-old Fatima Ptacek, was busted using a vapor pen to inhale caramel-flavored water along with Nadia Leonelli’s and Fredrik Sundwall’s 14-year-old daughter at an educational institution called Manhattan's Avenues: The World School.

The plaintiffs’ daughter was expelled and Ptacek was not. Leonelli’s and Sundwall’s suit seeks the reinstatement of their daughter at the school and $40,000 in damages to cover tuition payments and legal fees.
