'Strip Searches' At Michigan Jail Subject of Suit

Female inmates at the Wayne County Jail in Michigan are claiming searches conducted in recent months are unconstitutional, according to a federal lawsuit. So report’s the Star Tribune.

The lawsuit claims the women have had to take off their clothes in front of male inmates, guards and other employees. It also states the female inmates faced “crude remarks." The sheriff’s office said an investigation into the allegations has been launched.
